Meals & Nutrition
What Your Child Eats, Watched and Written Down
You pack the tiffin box — our caregivers take it from there: supervising every meal, helping with feeding when needed, and logging exactly what and how much your child ate, right in the parent app. A dedicated SafeCare catering program for Dhaka daycares is already in the works.

How we handle mealtime today
How we handle mealtime today
Supervised, not just stored
Your child's tiffin box doesn't just sit in a bag until pickup. Caregivers sit with children at mealtimes, help younger ones eat, and keep an eye on anyone who's picky, slow, or distracted.
Allergy notes that actually get checked
Every allergy and dietary restriction you record on your child's profile is visible to the caregivers on duty, so there's no guessing before a bite is offered or shared.
Logged in the app, same day
What your child ate and roughly how much is recorded in the SafeCare app alongside their nap and activity updates, so you're not left wondering how the tiffin box came back empty.
Honest about what's missing, not just what's there
If your child barely touched lunch or forgot a snack from home, caregivers note it so you know before pickup — not after a rough evening at home.
A catering program, actively being built
We're working on a dedicated, child-friendly catering service to bring fresh meals to daycare centers across Dhaka, not only SafeCare's own. It's a near-term goal, not live yet, and we'll tell you honestly when it is.
How mealtime works, day to day
How mealtime works, day to day
- 01
Pack, label, and note allergies at enrollment
You send your child's meals and tiffin for the day, and any allergy or dietary detail goes on their profile once — caregivers reference it every day after, not just once.
- 02
Hand off with a quick word at drop-off
Mention anything unusual for that day — a smaller appetite, a new food to try, a missed breakfast — so the caregiver on duty knows before mealtime starts.
- 03
Caregivers supervise and assist through the meal
Meals are eaten with a caregiver present, helping where needed and keeping allergy notes in mind, especially when food gets shared or swapped between children.
- 04
Check the app to see how it went
Log into the SafeCare app any time during or after the day to see what was logged for meals, alongside naps, activities, and photos, so pickup isn't the first time you find out.
Questions Dhaka parents actually ask
Questions Dhaka parents actually ask
Does SafeCare cook or provide my child's meals?
Not yet. Right now, parents and guardians pack and send their child's meals, snacks, and tiffin for the day. Our caregivers supervise mealtimes, help with feeding, and log what's eaten. We're actively building a dedicated catering program for Dhaka daycares, but it hasn't launched.
My child has a peanut allergy. How does the center know?
You record it on your child's profile when you enroll, and it stays visible to caregivers on duty every day after — not just something you mention once and hope is remembered.
Can I actually see what my child ate today, or do I just have to ask at pickup?
You can check the SafeCare app during the day or after — caregivers log what and roughly how much each child ate as part of the same meal, nap, and activity updates you already see.
When is the catering program launching, and can I find out first?
We're working on it now as a near-term priority, but we don't have a launch date yet. When you book a visit or get in touch, you can ask to be notified as soon as it's ready.
What happens if my child doesn't eat much or forgets their tiffin?
Caregivers note it and log it, so you find out the same day rather than piecing it together from a hungry evening at home. It's also a good moment to flag anything you'd like handled differently.
